The heater provides a temperature range of 80 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, starting at a .5 gallons per minute (GPM) flow rate and going up to 1.4 GPM. After 20 minutes, the water heater shuts off automatically for added peace of mind.
Battery-Operated for Use Off the Grid
Because the heater's flame ignites by battery, the Eccotemp is a handy backup water source when electricity is not readily available, making it ideal for use in emergency situations, as well as on camping trips. The heater requires two D-cell batteries (not included). The unit requires a minimum of 20 PSI of water pressure and maximum of 100 PSI.
